Determined to shoot some slide film for the competitions on a week away in France, I deliberated on what equipment to take ... and in the end decided on a zoom compact with overide functions which I thought would give me enough flexibility for what I had in mind. Although the wine got a little in the way ... a bit too much, shooting with limited equipment again was liberating!

Isn't it just. We get so burdened down with all the kit we carry that sometimes it just gets in the way.
Having said that, very brave of you to be so minimalist on any holiday. Not sure i could do that.
