We have a battle vs South Manchester held away. Keith will be there to sort our entry, but unfortunately I'm double booked and have a lecture to present elsewhere. So please go along and support the club and Keith! The more the better, let's have a bumper turnout to help things along?

Hi,

This particular battle is going to be a bit of a new experience for us competitively, with a totally unpredictable outcome.
Over the past couple of years we have had a stable of really good and tried and tested images to use in competitions that has held us in good stead and has undoubtedly been the reason behind our enviable success record in interclub battles.

However this time SMCC have asked that we change the entire format and both clubs use only images that we have not used in external competitions before. This was greeted with some dubiousness on our part I must admit, but after due consideration I thought that it would be interesting to go out to battle without our usual expectations of having some points in the bag before we start, or knowing what the other club will probably be bringing to the party.

So we have new images from the usual contributors, (Me, Andy Butler, Tracey, and Stuart) , and this time we also include images from Simon, Janice, Gill, Lesley, Chris Harrison, Danny Baker and Andy Baines.
All images are either untried outside of the club, or have never been seen in public before, and are all to be judged by Christine Widdall.

So Monday night is going to be an interesting exercise and experience.
Fingers are crossed.....

I'm really sorry not to be able to be at this one, it sounds very interesting and the outcome will be awaited with very keen interest.

What is good is to have a wider spread of ADAPS members represented.

Just got back from a slightly disappointing night in Didsbury.
Some of the usual judging anomalies, the different and last minute concept, and some very dodgy projection issues aside, it was a pleasant evening with some very nice consolatory cakes.

Well you can't win them all, ( although we were doing up to this point ), and it now stands at one win each.
We look forwards to locking horns with them again next year at Atherton.
