Well done for having a go and for posting the results.Martyn A wrote: i know it might not be the best photo but I'm quite proud f it.
Sure, it's not going to win a competition, it's not sharp, and it's overexposed. But the only way is up from here. Keep practising and enjoying.
And please keep posting photos on the forum.

Re: Martin Mere Trip
Alasdair - good effort and thanks for posting. Maybe next time wait until the bird has walked past the wooden support and then take the photo, so you don't get the wooden pole in the background.al c field wrote:here is mine duck.jpg

Many Thanks,

Re: Martin Mere Trip
It's one step better than what we achieved, which was no kingfisher at all. Apparently we missed it by about ten minutes.
Just getting the shot can be a tremendous feeling. I felt the same when I captured a glimpse of one of the two tawny owls that live in the trees at Martin Mere.
So well done both and keep posting!

Hi Andy
We managed to see the kingfisher at the Ron Barker hide from the right hand side at ground level. Hope that helps.
Thanks Martyn
