Mel
A great and unusual shot of an iconic landmark.A different view point adds to the interest but for me the background and bland sky let it down a little.
John
Who'd have thought looking up in a grass hut would have given a photo opportunity like this, well spotted.Everything is nice and sharp and the detail in the timbers and grasses is very good but I do not get a feeling of depth.
Mike
Sitting around for ages and then this guy comes along, what a treat. The feet and hands are nicely blurred giving a great sense of movement and when the right moment arrives you take the shot but I feel the background keeps taking my eye.
Terry
That is quite an amazing kite and the colours are vibrant.Difficult to get an idea of the scale and I'm sure some judges would have liked to have seen whoever is the 'pilot',but that wasn't the remit. The light and shade work well and the vast majority of the lines are visible.
JoJo
A very unusual image with all the reflections works well and I'm sure he had great fun posing for the shot;I can almost hear him saying'OMMM'.I know you can't do much about the background but if he was sharper it might have helped.
Gordon
This shot just works for me;capturing just a portion of the wheel changes the dynamics of perhaps an everyday shot, with the added bonus of a reflection as well.
Janice
Always thinking outside the box eh!The fantastic colours really come alive against the black background and this would really jump out at you from a big screen. The more you look, the more you're not sure whether they are concave or convex.
Thanks to everyone ,drum roll the winner is GORDON
