Dianne Owen FRPS – “The Next Step”
Photographic Artist
Dianne Owen received her ARPS & FRPS in 2008 in Visual Art. Her work is focused on adding part of herself to the image she processes. The Images depict emotions and experiences that she felt during the taking process and she loves pressing the button on the camera just as much a seeing a print emerge from the printer as she only work in prints. The paper completes her image.
Many of her prints are entered into Exhibitions Worldwide which receives Acceptance and Awards. This allows her to keep a high standard in photography.
The Talk - The Next Step
It Is mainly focused on Creative Photography achieved by adding photographic textures and brushes to images in Photoshop. The prints cover a wide range of subjects, ranging from Still Life, Landscape to Digital Art all with a creative touch; various images in the talk are from the Creative Workshops.
During the talk she passes the prints round for the members to see the close up print. Holding a
print changes the perspective of your thoughts on an image and allows you to see the smallest of detail including the texture created by the Hahnemühle Fine Art papers.
She doesn’t allow projection of her prints.
This is not a technical talk, but I encourage the members to ask questions about the prints during the talk
