No Professional Cameras Allowed

...at the Beijing Olympics. Apparently "Professional Camera Apparatus" cannot be taken in by members of the public, along with a huge list of other common and not-so-common items.

That would exclude just about all of us I think. No DSLRs and definitely no 50-500mm zoom lenses.

I think that's pretty common at sporting events over here too.

In fact even when I went to see Leigh play at Wembley in 1971 there was a note on the ticket saying that cameras weren't allowed.
