ADAPS Quiz Night

Post by Tom Gerrard »

Dear Len,

The aardvark is nocturnal and is a solitary creature that feeds almost exclusively on ANTS and termites (formicivore);[5] the only fruit eaten by aardvarks is the aardvark cucumber. An aardvark emerges from its burrow in the late afternoon or shortly after sunset, and forages over a considerable home range encompassing 10 to 30 kilometers,[4] swinging its long nose from side to side to pick up the scent of food. When a concentration of ANTS or termites is detected, the aardvark digs into it with its powerful front legs etc etc.

Luv Tom.

The info is just too late, but would have made the contest a draw!

Never mind, life can be cruel! :-d

As the lady in the Pub Quiz night at the Railway says.

I think most of us share the view that if you start taking a quiz night at ADAPS seriously you need to go out more.
Maybe take up a hobby like taking pictures

Not at all. This is only the second one in the last 10 years. If you're waiting for the next one, try around 2016 or so!

OOOHH did I miss something here? I was in and under the road deck of the Mersey Tunnel on thursday, very interesting and I got some fab pictures beforehand round the new Liverpool 1 complex.

I hope you got my picture quiz, I put it through the letterbox on Wednesday night.

Thanks for the quiz, Pammie, safely received.

Although as you didn't sign it I thought for a horrible moment that Len had left the pictures and wasn't going to turn up. He had the questions, so it would have been a very short quiz night. We did realise they were from you.

Hopefully we'll see your photos soon. How about a sneak preview on here?
Best regards

I was right. If it's not on the answer sheet it is wrong! Oh and what is a book?! I thought that is what the Internet was for, I would think wiki would be the ideal quiz 'inspiration' sheet!
