So it was your dogs running through my pictures. :-d :-d :-d :-d
I have been up to the gardens three days running, took over 100 shots and deleted all but 4. And I am not convinced about them neither.
The problem with snow is that it creates extreme contrasts and the light over the last few days has been very poor. (and my photography was little better  ) So the subject ends up under exposed or the snow is blown out.

The ones I like are the tall grey dog on the steps, the portrait style one of the small brown dog and the last one. Some of them (like the first one) would benefit from a simple curve adjustment to balance the contrast a little.

Hope this helps

Jane
I had a quick go at number 1
When you post the pictures to the web it is better to change the profile to sRGB (yours have the ProAm profile attached)

All that was done is to pull the bottom of the curve up.

Thanks Theo - no its wasnt my dogs  , them was taken a couple of weeks ago,
although i was planning on going up there over the last few days, things got in the road, and i didnt get chance,
but rest assured i wouldnt have let my dogs get in the road of someone else

The pictures are uploaded stright to picasa, so thats probably why they have the ProAm profile attached

It does help a lot Theo - thanks.

This image was my favourite. I liked the fact that you had faded out the background and caught just a bit of snow being kicked up by the dog walking. Very picture postcard. . . .
