I have recently been asked by a friend to sell several items on ebay on his behalf. These belonged to his brother who worked as Chief Photographer on a cruise ship, and have been sat in his mothers house but now she needs the space so wants them clearing out.
There are several items that I am awaiting further details of before listing them, including a full studio set up with flash/lights, reflectors and umbrellas, stands and various tripods etc, and also a complete darkroom.
In the meantime I have the cameras to be getting on with and so thought that before I put them on ebay, I would ask if any members of the club would like to make an offer on anything. I will pass these on to the seller and let you know in due course.
The items are
an Hasselblad 500c/m complete with 80mm Planar T lens and 120 film back.
a Nikon F4 body complete with MB-21 motor drive
a Nikon F3 body
The Hasselblads serial numbers put it as being made in 1986, but it is spotless and looks to me as if it has hardly been used at all, there is not a scratch or mark on it. The Nikons are well used but seem to be in working order and I am informed were well maintained and serviced during their business lives, which I suppose if you were on a ship was essential as you couldn't just pop into jessops with it.
There are also the following lenses for the Nikon bodies,
Nikkor 20mm f2.8 manual focus
Nikkor 35mm f1.4 manual focus
Nikkor 50mm f1.2 manual focus
Nikon 85mm f1.8 AF Nikkor
Nikon 28-85mm f3.5-4.5 Zoom AF Nikkor
Tokina AT-X 80-200 f2.8 Zoom (Nikon fit, obviously)
and a Nikon Speedlight SB 28 Flash.
Anything not under offer will be listed on Ebay next weekend, Feb 7th.
