Well, here I am sorting through my late brother's effects and I've come across and I've come across a Vivitar 500mm f8 macro mirror lens but there's no adapter (for my Sony Alpha 350), or filters with it. So, where can I get them from please? And is the lens any good?

Since The Sony is ACTUALLY a Minolta fit... you could try looking round Jessops and Calumet for a Minolta T ring...
I also had a 500mm mirror by Vivitar... and a minolta 700... it was a T ring that worked for me.... it meant it was a completely manual lens...
