I've put a few photographs together into an online slide show. It only lasts two minutes. Despite the title there were a couple that weren't taken at night - the ones in the Tower Ballroom, Blackpool - but since it was dark I've allowed them in as honorary night-time shots.
You'll need Quicktime to view it, and at the moment it needs to download the entire Quicktime movie before it begins to play, but I'm looking at trying to sort that out.
You can find it here...

Re: Online slideshow "After Dark"
Hi Steve
There are some good candid images there, I think they all work really well as B&W creating a good atmosphere to the series. I enjoyed watching it.
Best Wishes

Thanks for sharing that, Steve. I enjoyed it too. My favourite image was the first ballroom one though - stunning quality.
Best regards
John

Re: Online slideshow "After Dark"
Tracey, many thanks for the very kind words. John, I deliberately didn't add any technical details to the slideshow, but all the tower ballroom photographs were taken with a Leica 24mm Elmarit on an M8. The 24mm is an absolutely fantastic lens.
All the other photographs were taken using the M8 with the exception of the band photograph fairly early in. That was taken with a film Leica. Although it was a few years ago I remember thinking at the time that the singer was rather attractive <grin>.

Re: Online slideshow "After Dark"
The action dancing shot after the ken burns effect in the ball room was my favourite.
Did not realise there was music until after the event. I don't usually have the audio on my work pc becuase it clicks, blips and clacks in an annoying fashion everytime I do any thing.

Thanks everyone.
Pammie, yes I think there will be some more. All I need to do first is think of the theme.
