Bank Holiday Monday

Post by John »

So where did you go today? Please post a single image from wherever you went, just out of interest, but also to give other members ideas about where to head for next time.

We went to the South Lakes Animal Park:

We went exploring around the Peak District, with stops at Buxton and Bakewell.
But I left the camera at home...

I went home to Bishop Auckland in County Durham, but my wife would not let me take my camera. Apparently, she doesn't like holding my bag, or being told not to drop it, make sure it's zipped up, and not to get it wet.

After much deliberation as to where to go, I took my MF gear for a walk around White Coppice [as Mark Dyson goes on about it so much]; Black Coppice; and a walk up to where only the sheep go, in the quarry.

Had a lovely cup of tea at the Cricket Club. Mark I'll bring a map to the Club, so you can show me where to visit?! :x

Hi

I didn't go anywhere except in front of the computer. I was writing a presentation for an interview today - phew, just glad that is now over. I should find out in a couple of weeks if I got the job. Fingers crossed. My camera is collecting dust at the moment, it hasn't been out of the bag for weeks - will have to remedy that

See you soon.
