Could not resist this building on the way back to the car on Sunday.

John,

That's the good thing about Manchester by night, or the earliest of mornings. As you are not constantly looking at the ground to see who is about to walk into you, or looking out for cars, you get to see the great stone buildings that Manchester has. There are a few on Deansgate and also, if you turn right at those lights and go up Peter Street and then left after the round library, round the back of the Town Hall, onto Cross Street and then into St Anne's square. You can then go back onto Deansgate and head to the John Rylands library and then look at the modern architechture of the Evening News and bank next door.

In fact, because of my stroppy camera not really wanting to work in the dark, I think this was the best shot I got all night.

My old car.. it was rubbish but the scenery is good, if you want the location's just ask and i can get them for you
the pics of my car were taken by a friend but the first pics i took on same cam

yeah it is a nice shot, my friend who lends me his camera does alot of car photography and this is a good spot, always on the look out for new places though!
