Post by John »

Here's the first major ADAPS coach trip for decades, and it was a resounding success, so many thanks again to Tracey, our organiser.

I agree - thanks very much Tracey for a really well organised day out, I enjoyed it very much - and you certainly seem to have a knack for picking the right day for the weather - can you tell me when to go on holiday next time in the UK

Yes, many thanks to Tracey for organising the trip to Beamish which was enjoyed by all. There was certainly a lot to see there, and the pub we stopped off at on the return trip served excellent food.

It does take a lot of time and energy to research and organise even just a day out, making bookings and collecting money off everyone, so we should realise the effort it all takes.

All in all a "Grand Day Out" !!

Thanks Tracey!!

I would also like to add my congratulations and appreciation to Tracey for organising such a fabulous day out for us all; we were blessed with excellent weather and the evening meal was delicious and ample portions; everybody had a great day and it would not have happened at all if it were not for the stirling efforts of Tracey - well done and thanks Ian R

Here is one of the houses in the town with a beautiful stain glass window on the landing; Is the young girl a ghost from the past or was she really there??!!

Hi Everyone

Thank you everyone for all your lovely comments (on this and the other threads), it's very much appreciated. I sincerely hope that you all had a good time on Sunday, I just wanted everything to run as smoothly as possible and for everyone to enjoy the day. Even though it was a long day with an early start I hope that you all thought it was worth it.

I must apologise for mis-informing you of the ticket situation, I really believed that everyone would get their own ticket which they could use again within the next 12 months but when I queried this they said because we had got the group discount rate, we only got the one ticket for all of us which only covered the one visit, so I must apologise for that, sorry. :( :( :(

Hopefully the next trip to Blackpool Illuminations on Sunday 10th October will be as successful - see full details on the Forum.

Thanks again.
