Gigrin Farm Red Kite feeding centre

Post by john miller »

I wonder if anyone would be interested in photographing the Red Kites at Gigrin Farm Powys. They have a website-Gigrin Farm.com,their is also a link on Photozine. Maybe Tracy could mention it at one of our club nights.

John

I certainly would be intested.
In view of the distance it would be an idea "car-share" trip.

Hi Folks,
Gigrin Farm is a good location to photograph Red Kites, they are now well established in other parts of the UK, the Chilterns and around the north east etc, a very good place to visit isthe Galloway Kite trail around Loch Ken west of Dumfries near Castle Douglas,
Photo taken at Loch Ken.
Bert.

Hi John

Thank you for your suggestion, I've added it to the list which will be discussed at the next Committee Meeting where we will be planning some trips in for this coming year. I'll keep you all posted.
