Just a couple of quick edits... to be honest I don't find this type of place very conducive to taking photos. But it was a good day out, many thanks to Tracey for organising it and finding us a lovely pub to eat in afterwards.

Here's one of my first ventures into HDR processing, I'm only using the basic free Photomatrix program for now, so unfortunately it does have watermarks - but at least I can practice some of what it can do - any feedback welcome!

And you've done the right thing by seeking out 'unusual' shots.
I think the image of the glasses and paper is excellent. :D

Stewood, that's crying out to be painted.
Just a small thing though, you have a smudged person in the middle wearing a red coat. I'd have a little go at cloning 'it' out, or even better, clone the original person back in from one of your shots..

Hi,

Yes I think Pauline might be right, it could be me posing right in the middle of your shot, Kevin - sorry ( I prefer the thought of being cloned in rather than deleted altogether ;-]

I would point out though 'Pauline' that I'm the one there taking photos and not chatting in a group of three near the bridge (beige, black and pink)

Great photos from everyone so far - I always like to see what others have taken, when I've been at the same place. It gives me a chance to see what I missed and how I could have seen the 'picture' differently.

Best wishes

Ann
