film and monochrome images

Post by pammie »

Hi all,

I have put an evening on the syllabus THURSDAY 17th MARCH 2011 for images from ADAPS members made by using a traditional wet darkroom process.

Members wishing to show their work please let me know. If you do not want to stand at the front and talk about it, that's fine, please let me have the images and remain annonymous.

Thanks Pammie

Pammie - Do you want only recent wet darkroom prints or will you accept prints that were processed two or three or more years ago?
That is before the mass exodus of photographers moving away from Film Cameras and over to Digital Cameras.

Pammie,
I have my wet darkroom prints both colour and monodhrome but they are more than 3 years old,
Bert.

Hi

the idea is to show monochrome darkroom work, so anything you would like to show would be ok. I personally don't mind how old it is, unless anyone has any objections.

Do I remember some one digitised some of our latern slides?
They may well be worth seeing again.
And they were done in a proper darkroom.

The digitised lantern slides are held on CD and can be viewed whenever we wish. They are worth a night of their own sometime, perhaps after the lantern Slide show that's coming up soon.
Best regards

I will do some prints for you, do you have any requests about the subject matter. Just finished some contact prints from the 8 rolls of 120 I developed from Norfolk.

Hi Bob and welcome

Mount boards should be 50x40cm and prints at least 48 square inches - so 8"x6" minimum (or some other shape that makes the area) - most people print A4 or A3.
