Precious - for critique

Post by Gill Blower »

Hi, thought I would join in...I am at a point were I need inspiration and feel my portraits are lacking something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.. so here goes. This is from the Preston Shoot both me & Pauline went to. We both struggled with exposure on some of the shots but this was my favourite from the day.

It's close up, moody and makes a great image. I'd be pleased with it as it is.
Best regards

Hi Gill,

I like this image, the only thing I'm not keen on is the bottom left area, but I don't think there is anything you can do about it, because I like the pose of her hand at the opposite corner.

I still like the chiffon picture the best :)

Best wishes

I like this, up close and personal giving an intensity to the image which works very nicely. I am slightly distracted by something on her forehead just right of centre, has an area been cloned or given some treatment to even out the complexion?

I really like the photo, love the eye contact, but feel the white could be a bit brighter. Nice photo.
