Morecambe Winter Gardens.

Post by kevinlowe »

I've exchanged a few emails with a lovely lady from the Friends of the Winter Gardens in Morecambe, and she tells me they allow people in to photograph the fabulous old building on sundays.
As long as you let them know in advance, and you agree to wear a hard hat for H&S reasons.

Maybe a possibility for a future trip?

Yes, myself and Ian were up there a couple of months ago and wandered in, and found out they did a tour about one hour. They don't mind you taking pics at all. It was £3 each which we thought was very good.

The only thing was, as we strolled out with our cameras in our hands, a woman at the bus stop pounced on us and said to Ian "Ooh, you can take pictures inside you know, but only if you are not a proper photographer".

We have to go here ... But not too sure how a model would look in a hard hat ?
Take only pictures, Leave only footprints ........
Возьмите только фотографии, оставить только след .........

Always ask yourself this question: “am I proud of this shot?” if the answer is “yes” then it doesn’t matter what anyone else says.
