Hi Paul, do not know how to edit my post or how to make the picture smaller. Do I need Photoshop as I do not have it?

Welcome chickfreeman

If you are using the GIMP simply go to Image/scale image
put 800 px in the width (the hight will change automatically)
put 72 in the x resolution (the y will change automatically)
Hit scale and save
Job done

By the way as far as I know any one can join the online comp. It is only the ones at the club that are rrestricted to members only.

Provided you are logged in go to the post you want to edit
Look at the top and you will see edit just left of you name. click and adjust the post
