I went to Astley Green Colliery Museum on Sunday, just for an hour or so. My self-imposed projects was "Project Red" and the images are here on my Facebook page:

The brief was no cropping and there had to be something red in each image. I used a Pentax K-5 with SMC Pentax D-FA 100mm f2.8 Macro lens for all the shots. And a tripod.
From time to time I intend to do similar mini-projects and where possible I'll let you know in advance where and when, so you can come along and join in if you want to.

Good idea John. I always thing these look good in a grid, which is how Facebook have presented them. I think a single grid layout for these projects makes the collection look better than any individual photograph.
