The first evening of a New Year is by tradition Chairman's Night.

This time round I am planning to delve into the hidden secrets in our cameras and see just what effects and styles can be used to our advantage. For example, what about in-camera HDR? What effects are possible with the vast array of image styles, such as Toy Camera and Fish-eye effects? Why would we use in-camera sharpening?

The one thing we will have to defer is a discussion of the merits or otherwise of buying one of the new DSLR derivative models with out an AA (anti-aliasing) filter, now available on all medium format models, the Nikon D800E and the Pentax K-5 IIs. That will have to be reported on later, perhaps in the forum.
