I'm a little bit disappointed with the times they are planning on running these... I would love to go and am considering taking 1/2 a day off work to do so... but certainly have no intention of doing that throughout the year.

Make it 6-8pm and I'm there... but anytime between 8:00am-5:30pm is just a pain.

Thanks very much for the tip. I did attend the talk which was very interesting. Lots of very good pictures.
I simply emailed Ian Beesley to make sure that it was OK.
Whilst the venue is laid on for the students of bolton uni there were a number of outside visitors. Plenty of spacce for more.
There is another one coming up in a few weeks time and if you have the chance its worth going.

To find the lecture theatre just go to the main reception as it is just above it.
