Thursday 13 March Creative Night

Hi All

This is to give you plenty of time to get your creative juices flowing.

We are holding an open competition and we are looking for anything 'creative' which can include Composites, HDR,tone mapping, Photoshop/Lightroom enhanced images, the skies the limit. (All images used must be the work of the author).

We are looking for up to 5 images per member and Keith is sorting out an external judge.

Please send your images direct to Keith in the usual monthly competition format.

Just to clarify, for this event are you specifically looking for images which have been 'photoshopped' or digitally manipulated?

Or could a straight photograph be classed as 'creative' in the way it was taken?

When we did the 'straight out of camera' competition we said that we would redress the balance and hold a creative night. The images for this competition should not be straight out of camera and have some form of manipulation..how much is up to the author

Closing date 27th February.

Hi,
Actually, as this competition will probably take a bit more preparation than usual, (for the entrants), we can extend the handing in date until the week before, and make the closing date for entries the 6th March.
So you have two weeks from this Thursday to get them sent to me.

Can we use these images again in the normal monthly comps later? or are they restricted to this comp only danny.

Hi,
Further to Dannys' question, you are free to use all your images for this competiton in the subsquent monthlies and the Annuals, but could we ask that you don't use images for this competition that have been used previously in those two competitions.

If we have seen them in forum competitions and posted on Fb, that is fine.

On Thursday we are holding our Creative Night and I hope that we have had plenty of entries. I am sure we will see some very imaginative images.
