Auction Night 29 May
An auction night will be held at the ADAPS club room on Thursday 29 May; bring all your unwanted photography equipment and accessories and change them into cash! Note: 10% of the final bid will be deducted as a donation to the ADAPS club funds. Come one, come all!

Mel
If you don't mind, I'll bring all the things you gave me for the Christmas raffle that didn't happen. I think the items will be more suited to the auction. Are you happy for me to donate them?

Hi Tracey - certainly - anything that can boost the club funds is ok by me. Gwen and I have got some other stuff we can donate too.

Don't forget to bring a list with your items written thereupon, with any reserve price required, and any other details that I can pontificate about whilst endeavoring to extract cash from the assembled multitude.
Re: Auction Night 29 May
I'll also add that the auction night is for photographic items. Last year we had some very good stuff brought in and there were quite a few very happy purchasers!
Best regards

Sue Boon has designed some forms that might help us list our auction items. These are available where you sign in, ask Sue if you need any more. In any event, we need any items you bring in listing with your name and any reserve prices clearly indicated.
In addition to this, I will be bringing in a pile of "50p items" and you can take these and put the money in the dish provided, before the auction starts. There will be an array of filters, accessories and classic parts and accessories. These will be on a separate table and everything on that table will be 50p.
I'll provide any technical information when the auction is running, Alan Duckworth will be auctioneer, Sue Boon will collect the money and keep a tally. The club takes 10% of every sale price and also of course 10% of the 50p item sales as well.
Please come as early as reasonable to bring photographic items and to view auction items and to buy from the 50p table.

Hi John
Is there any chance a copy of the form can be posted here with the ability to download it then we can bring the paperwork with us, it may save some time on the night?

Re: Auction Night 29 May
Well, I'm not sure how much money was raised but the auction night was good fun as always.
Thanks to Alan Duckworth and Sue Boon for running it, and everyone else who helped.

Re: Auction Night 29 May
We raised a little over £50 for club funds, but just as important is that things that were lying around unwanted were actually moved to new owners who could benefit from them.
I second Paul's thanks - Alan always does a good job, and Sue Boon keeps track of the confusing mass of figures and payments with apparent ease!
