Re: Thurs 7 April "Images from the Archives"
The L&CPU archives go back a long way, so this should be fascinating!
Best regards

I thought that tonight's presentation by Garth and John was both entertaining and informative, and well presented. I hope we can get them again in the near future.

Really enjoyed last night. Brought back some happy memories from the sixties and some of the pictures were outstanding.
Loved the black and white portraits.

I hope all clubs will become more aware that this talk is on offer as it's different and very interesting.

Gotta say I really enjoyed the presentation on Thursday night.
What is fascinating to me is that the black and white portraits from the 30s/40s are superb classic photographs (the farmers and fishermen), yet the more modern colour ones from the late 80s, early 90s (big haired glamed-up ladies) are very dated and cheesy.
It was a fascinating look back at old techniques and styles as well as being entertaining and quite poignant with the recorded presentation at the end.
Great stuff.
Andy.
