A big thank you to Bert

Post by Theo Dibbits »

A big thank you to Bert for organising a smashing trip to Oulton park. He even managed to sort the weather out.
I thought the following picture summed the day up well.

I Agree - Thank you Bert for all the guidance around the track. The weather and the Company was great too.

What a fab day, really, really enjoyed it. Good company, great weather, cack pictures...!!!! Oh well, at least I tried. Just wished the damn bikes weren't moving so fast, even my Honda Placks (Scooters) have turned out blurred. Think I'll stick to static objects. Here is my best shot of the day, not that good I know compared to the brilliant ones the others took:

Here's my favourite - sorry Peter, I couldn't resist:

BIG BIG thank you to Bert, he was brilliant, showed us all the best spots, was really informative, just wished I wasn't such a rubbish student, I'll just have to keep practicing.

Best Wishes
Tracey

Tracey, that shot looks OK saying it was your first attempt at action photography, it isn't as easy as some judges seem to think, and you
certainly where prepared to take the advice we all gave you, you will certainly get better results if you give it another go sometime.
as with all aspects of photography it's a learning curve.
Thanks for your kind comments and pleased that you enjoyed the day.
Regards Bert.
