Open questions re Photomatix

Post by Theo Dibbits »

There were a number of questions regarding the use of photomatix on a remote computer, backup and the license key

1 Using the program on a remote computer or backing it up.
You can see the answer on the link http://www.hdrsoft.com/support/faq_phot ... ml#offline
2 License Keys

However, our reseller Plimus will generate only one license key automatically
for your order. So, you will have to wait that we email to you the other
license keys manually. We will email them within 48-hours of your purchase
and you will then be able to distribute them to each of the members
participating in the scheme.

The license key is a string of 16 characters with dashes to separate between
each 4-character group. It is possible to type in the license key, but I
would rather recommend copying/pasting it to avoid typing error.

To make copying/pasting possible on the remote computer, you will have to copy
the license key to a text file from the email containing the license
information sent after purchase. Then, save this text file and transfer it to
the remote computer.

In any case, registering Photomatix Pro does not require to be connected to
the Internet.

I hope this clarifies any outstanding questions but to make live easy I will put the whole lot on a CD
