Off-camera flash study day in Stockport. Wed 4th Feb

Post by cameraclix »

Hi, sorry I've not been around for a while...I got struck down by the 'flu just before Xmas and having been struggling to shake it off ever since.

If anyone is available and interested, Mark Cleghorn is coming to the Britannia Hotel in Stockport to give a day of tutorials regarding his style of off-camera flash for portraits, weddings and commercial clients. He will be demonstrating various equipment, including the increasingly popular skill of using a couple of off-camera speedlights to mimic studio lights. There will also be opportunities for you to practice, using your own cameras.

The total cost for the day is only £23 and is a ticket only event. I'll be there with another business colleague. I've put a link to his site below which gives a detailed agenda for the day. The day is being sponsored by the SWPP who are my Trade Organisation, which is how I get to know about all these sorts of people and events. I highly recommend the SWPP seminars that take place at hotels like this all over the country, though they usually cost £50-60 per day....this one is a New Year, new recession cheapie!

It would be lovely to see any of you there who want to explore this fascinating area of photography.

Best Wishes to all
