Out and About in the West Midlands

Post by John »

We went to the Camera Fair at Dunstall Park today, after which we visited a few interesting spots nearby. This one is Boscobel House. King James is reputed to have hidden from enemy forces in the Royal Oak, a rather sad looking Oak tree these days. It might currently hide a Small Mouse, but once it hid kings. Here's the splendid hunting lodge:

Hi John
This is a nice clean image, did you not take a picture of the Oak?

Sue did, but the Oak was looking very sad - it is very, very old and it shows.
