ADAPS meets every Thursday, all year round, at 8.00pm.
We welcome visitors and new members.

ADAPS has a good mix of members of all ages, young and old, men and women, beginners and experienced photographers. You’ll soon find friends to buddy up with and we’ll help you as much as you need.

You don’t need to bring anything with you to your first meeting, but if you want to bring your camera to ask us any questions, or some of your latest photos to show us what kind of pictures you like taking, you’re more than welcome. Your first visit is free of charge and we’ll even offer you free refreshments.

We welcome anyone with an interest in photography to come and join us. It really doesn’t matter what camera or equipment you have. It’s not about film or digital, what equipment you use, or the size of your gadget bag – but the image that counts, as well as enjoying your photography. So there’s no need to feel intimidated by the size of your camera or lack of gear. We’re not all using the latest cameras that cost thousands of pounds. You definitely won’t find any equipment snobs or elitism at ADAPS, just like-minded, friendly amateur photographers who like taking photos.
