Apologies if this has been dealt with elsewhere.
Now we have a spanking new projector, do we have to prepare our images any differently to submit them for comps?
Cheers

Re: BORING SUNSETS
Michael I agree with Janice. These are fab and anyone not in any way boring. The fact that you used your compact shows that it's not all about equipment or the number of pixels at your disposal. It's what you see in the first place and the way that you use the equipment that you have that is importa...

Thanks Paul
If anyone fancies a trip out to Liverpool for a few hours Thursday or Friday, drop me a line. I don't mind driving.

Re: Photographer Inspirations?
My main focus over recent years has been equine photography, apart from photographing our horses Mary and I regularly follow the North East Cheshire Drag Hunt throughout the hunting season which lasts from September to April. Just to allay anyone's fears the NECDH does not hunt live quarry, rather t...

It's not often that something that costs less than £50 has such a positive effect on anyone's results. Pound for pound it sounds like money well spent.

Re: New camera
Michael Please don't underestimate your self with regard to being able to use a dslr. Many of the entry level ones are just as easy to use as compact cameras. As for affordability, I recently sold a Nikon D70 which is a decent, but outdated dslr, complete with a zoom lens for £140. The girl that I s...

Re: New to the club and forum
Dennis, I bought photomatix of ebay for about £24. I had to download the official version from photomatix and was supplied with access codes from the ebay seller. You get the latest version from photomatix.
Looking forward to seeing some of your stuff.
Say hello next time your at the club.
